History of the Aiyl Area

Brief History

On March 20, 2024, the Maidan and Ayribaz aiyl okmotu were merged based on the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 370 and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 52, resulting in the establishment of the Maidan Aiyl Okmotu.

This reform was carried out in order to strengthen local self-government, improve the quality of services provided to residents, and support the socio-economic development of the area.

Coal deposits Besh-Archa, Kadamzhai Mining and Uu-Tash operate in the area.

As part of social support, 1,500 tons of coal are distributed free of charge every year to families in need.
